Game ended at 10:15, out of the locker room by 10:30, then just hung out and talked with some pitchers in hand until midnight haha. Glad I took today off.

That’s not a bad time. I’ve lucked into being able to get on the ice early Sunday mornings this winter. Enjoy that now, l ate worknights get tough once you go over the hill.

Breaking in a new pair of skates starting this weekend. I’m looking forward to it, and also dreading it.

Even on the penalty kill we outshot them 6 -0  . When the ref tells us to take it down a notch... it was a fun game for us.

There is a sportsmanship issue at play here - coaches I knew when I was younger would have never allowed this :)

These were people literally brand new to skating, right? Sounds like a crazy mismatch . In the rec leagues I have seen here, there is a fair amount of parity.
